They are the ones whose lives they are devoting to the students, and they have a huge influence on their futures. Introducing Cassandra Mmabatho Hawkins, a retired educator and entrepreneur, with over 29 years of experience in education, including teaching Language Arts. Furthermore, P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized) has designated her as a VIP member. With degrees in Speech, Theatre, and Communications, she uses her skills to support kids in learning how to express themselves, as well as in stimulating creativity, spiritual development, and making wise decisions.

Ms. Tulini: Teachers at Brainfood Academy
As a Special Education and General Education Teacher, Ms. Tulini has taught 1st and 2nd grades in Special Education. In addition, she has taught Middle School Grades 4 and 5, Supplemental 9th and 10th grades, and online during the pandemic. She retired in June 2022 from a low-income school. As a result of her experience, at Brainfood Academy, her focus will be teaching 1–5, high school Language Arts and Social Studies, 3–4, SS and Science, and 1-4 Math, if needed. Mr. Cantu: The Music Man
Meet the founder of Brainfood Academy, a school that teaches students practical life skills and music theory. The academy focuses on reading musical chords and playing guitar, with a separate class for guitar instruction. Ms. Starling is a University of Florida graduate with a degree in Elementary Education, specializing in teaching reading and math at the elementary level. Her teaching strategies prioritize teaching phonological awareness, vocabulary, fluency, handwriting, grammar, and punctuation. Mr. Janecek emphasizes that even though history cannot be changed, there are lessons to be learned from it to comprehend the present and plan for the future Mr. Janecek will engage students in an open conversation about past and present history, focusing on facts rather than opinions. Ms. Wendy Naruse with the Assistance of Felix – Learn and Grow
In addition to her work with elementary school students since 2017, Ms. Wendy Naruse, a special education teacher, has three years of tutoring experience. She has also taught Conversational Cantonese and has used online Zoom platforms.
Ms. Wendy is a passionate teacher and lives in Hawaii with four dogs and a cat. She teaches grade 1 math at Brainfood Academy, incorporating fun into the classroom with her stuffed animal Felix. Mr. Hamilton Will Show You How To Not be a Victim of Math
As a motivational speaker, Mr. Hamilton aims to help students overcome their fear of math by teaching them the fundamentals, which are essential in all aspects of life. He teaches students how to break down the essential elements of math, from basic algebra to trigonometry, and how to enjoy the joys of numbers. He believes that math is a necessity in our lives, and by understanding and embracing the joys of numbers, students can conquer the world of math and overcome the stigma associated with it.
